1.1 Account and Profile Information

A unique account identifier associated with your Kalbal account

Kalbal may use Firebase Authentication, including anonymous authentication, to create and maintain a user account and identify the account within the App.

1.2 Messages and Conversations

When you use Kalbal's messaging features, we process the information necessary to deliver your messages and maintain your conversations.

This may include:

One-to-one text messages
Group messages
Conversation and group identifiers
Message timestamps and delivery/read status

We use this information to provide messaging functionality, deliver messages to intended recipients, maintain conversation history, and support moderation features such as blocking and reporting.

1.3 Online and Last-Seen Information

Kalbal may process online status, offline status, and last-seen information to provide presence-related features within the App.

1.4 Push Notification Information

Kalbal may process a Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) registration token or similar technical notification identifier so that we can deliver notifications for new messages, group activity, and incoming calls.

1.5 Camera and Microphone

Kalbal may request access to your device camera and microphone when you use the one-to-one video calling feature.

Camera and microphone access is used only when required for the video call functionality and is subject to the permissions granted by you.

1.6 Token Purchases

Kalbal may offer optional digital token purchases through Google Play Billing. Purchase transactions are processed through Google Play.

We may process information necessary to verify purchases, prevent duplicate processing, maintain your token balance, and provide purchase-related records.

Kalbal does not receive or store your full payment card number through the App. Payment processing is handled by Google Play according to Google's applicable policies and terms.

1.7 Technical Information

We may process limited technical information required to operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and secure the App. This may include information provided by Firebase or Android platform services when technically necessary.

We may use information for the following purposes:

To create and maintain your Kalbal account
To provide one-to-one messaging
To provide group conversations
To deliver messages and notifications
To provide one-to-one video calls
To show online and last-seen status
To process and verify token purchases

3. Messages and User-Generated Content

Kalbal allows users to send text messages and participate in group conversations. Content that you voluntarily submit may be stored and processed so that Kalbal can provide the requested communication functionality.

Users can use available blocking and reporting features to help manage unwanted interactions or content.

We may take appropriate action regarding content or accounts that violate applicable laws, our Terms of Use, or our safety requirements.

4. Video Calls

Kalbal provides one-to-one video calling. When you start or accept a video call, the App may use your camera and microphone after the required permissions are granted.

Kalbal does not intentionally record video calls or audio calls unless the App is separately updated to provide such a feature and the applicable privacy disclosures are updated accordingly.

5. Third-Party Services

Kalbal uses third-party services that may process information on our behalf or provide services required for the App to function.

These services may include:

Google Firebase services for authentication, database, notifications, and related application services
Google Play Billing for in-app digital purchases
WebRTC-related technology for real-time video communication

Third-party services process information according to their own applicable privacy policies and terms.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information.

Information may be shared or processed by service providers when necessary to operate Kalbal, provide requested features, maintain security, process purchases, deliver notifications, or comply with legal requirements.

Information may also be disclosed when required by applicable law, legal process, or a valid governmental request.

7. Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

Data transmitted through the App and its supporting services may be protected using encryption in transit where supported by the relevant service.

However, no internet transmission or electronic storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

8. Data Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the App's services, maintain account functionality, support security and moderation, resolve disputes, comply with legal obligations, and enforce applicable terms.

Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information and the reason it is processed.

You may request deletion of your Kalbal account and associated personal data.

To request account deletion, contact us using the privacy contact information provided below or use the account deletion functionality available in the App, when provided.

After receiving a valid deletion request, we will take reasonable steps to delete information associated with the account, subject to information that we are required or permitted to retain for legal, security, fraud-prevention, dispute-resolution, or other legitimate purposes.

10. Blocking and Reporting

Kalbal provides blocking and reporting functionality to help users control unwanted interactions.

Information associated with a report may be processed for safety, moderation, abuse prevention, and enforcement purposes.

Kalbal is not specifically designed as a child-directed service. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable laws.
